Bravo! I hate when people do this, especially when they block the entire cross walk, then when you look at them like WTF? they just give you this dumbfounded look like they did nothing wrong.

Pedestrian is lucky he didn't get chased down and clubbed with a tire iron.

It's really hard to drive a car when your head is someplace where the sun don't shine.

Some drivers probably would have done that.

I disagree, he saw people start to walk out from between cars, and stopped as quick as he reasonably could. He did get about a foot into a 6 foot crosswalk, but the dickhead with the chip on his shoulder just decided to take it out on the guys car. Uncalled for.

used to just slap cars (usually taxis) that came into the crosswalk, was usually a daily occurrence when in the city. I suspect walking on hoods would have received applause from the pedestrians.

You can reasonably see the people to the right walking before he arrives. Seems like a lack of attention to me.

Hoodwalker just taught the driver to, next time, blow through the crosswalk instead of stopping.

it's a minivan-ish so if you assume that there are kids inside, you dont want to floorboard the brakes, and even at 25 or so, it still takes a few feet to stop. That and the pedestrians to the right didn't bother to slow or even check traffic until they were in it. I still say he's a dickhead, and I would try to get him on vandalism charges.

If you don't want to floorboard the brakes you drive slower at crosswalks like those.
The car is an Opel Astra wagon of the H generation, the generation that was available in the US as the Saturn Astra.
